Committed employees are the key to success.

In today’s very dynamic and often fast-moving world, it is a challenge to keep loyal and committed employees in the company permanently and for the long term. In the course of this, it is particularly important for us to offer ideal working conditions, to value our employees and to create a feel-good working environment in which everyone can use their personal strengths and develop their potential. That is why we are extremely pleased that Thomas Koch is already celebrating his 10th anniversary as an employee with us this month.

We took this happy event as an opportunity to ask Thomas some questions about his time at Dinotronic AG:

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR JOB AT A PARTY?

Always on the verge of escalation. Maximum fun factor with maximum commitment. There are always those who are having too much fun at the party and the others who still need to get in the mood a bit. Finding the balance for everyone to enjoy the party is how I would describe my job. Because reconciling customers, employees and services is a challenge, but also the greatest motivation when it succeeds. Not only organizational and technical factors play a role here, but also human ones when it comes to empathizing with customers and employees. It is often a bit like throwing the party myself.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING THAT COMES TO YOUR MIND ABOUT DINOTRONIC AS AN EMPLOYER?

So many things: The very good team and my individual and great colleagues. The perfect mix of personal responsibility and mutual support. And last but not least, the esteem in which we hold each other.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR YEARS AT DINOTRONIC?

I value working in a well-organized team with people who have become important to me over the years. I was also able to gain a lot of experience: The first years mainly technical, the last years a lot of organizational. And fortunately, I have not yet finished learning! The company is very agile to meet the demands of such a dynamic environment, and so there is definitely never any boredom. Here at Dinotronic, I can fully contribute because my own ideas are taken on board, encouraged, and appreciated. For example, when I started at the company 10 years ago, there was no service desk. I was allowed to build it completely my own and had the full support of the company and employees. That still inspires me every day anew.

I met incredibly interesting people and the resulting friendships have enriched my life immensely. When you spend so much time with your colleagues at work, the people, the environment, and the development opportunities are extremely important and an incredible motivator. Here’s to the next decade with Dinotronic – I’m looking forward!
